This variation, which is usually played with two decks of cards, can have three to eight players competing against one another over a number of rounds. Predetermined contracts that change from round to round dictate the particular reqrummy walauirements for melding sets and runs in each round. One round might ask players to form two sets and score one run, while another might ask them to score three runs without any sets. Contract Rummy's dynamic nature keeps players interested as they modify their tactics in response to shifting contracts as the game progresses.
