The biggest-ever Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) tournament is back with the PokerGo Tour (PGT) Super High Roller Bowl: $100,000 Pot-Limit Omaha, a six-figure, four-card event that debuted last year and saw Jared Bleznick winning the historic event for $1.3 million.

One year later, the sports cards enthusiast is closing in back-to-back $100,000 PLO victories. Bleznick ended Thursday's Day 1 second in chips thanks to a cooler against Samuli Sipila as he made quad jacks to crush the Finn's aces full, according to PokerGO updates.

The only player ahead of Bleznick in the counts is Russia's Artem Maksimov, who is after his first PGT title after several final table finishes at the previous two PLO festivals inside PokerGO Studio. Other players who bagged Day 1 include last year's runner-up Isaac Haxton, Josh Arieh, Sam Soverel, Sean Winter, recent PGT PLO Championship victor Ben Tollerene and current PGT points leader Jeremy Ausmus.

Negreanu Busts Two Bullets

Last year's inaugural event in Las Vegas drew 38 players for a $3.8 million prize pool. This year's offering has attracted 38 players so far with registration open until the start of Day 2 today at 1 p.m. local time.

It took two bullets for Bleznick, who earlier this summer won his first bracelet and $2 million in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) $50,000 High Roller, to bag a big stack, and Daniel Negreanu didn't have the same fortune.

The recent $10,000 PLO winner busted his first bullet as his wrap couldn't hit against John Riordan. His second $100,000 buy-in brought the Poker Hall of Famer even less luck as he bluffed into the stone nuts of Jason Koon, who himself was eliminated later in the evening.

Daniel Negreanu Wins Another PGT Event!

It's unlikely Negreanu took the bustouts personally as he sang nothing but high praises for his PLO comrades earlier in the week.

Other players who failed to advance through Day 1 include Alex Foxen, Dylan Weisman, Nick Schulman and Seth Davies.

After seven levels of play on Day 1, players will return today to blind levels of 4,000/8,000/8,000. That leaves plenty of play left for anyone looking to hop in with a fresh starting stack of 300,000.
